Hotel Central - Engelberg

The location was perfect, just a short walk from the train station and ski bus, making it easy to explore the area. The room was quite spacious and offered stunning views of the surrounding mountains. I really appreciated the kettle in the room for some hot drinks after a day on the slopes. Breakfast had a fantastic variety, which made it easy to fuel up for the day ahead.

The rooms were brand-new and spotless with balcony and the breakfast was freshly prepared.

This was a fine stay in nice town. The comfort room was new-fashioned, included shower facilities, a hair dryer, and bath sheets. The location was stunning, only 5 minutes walk to Titlis Cliff Walk.

Well furnished room, close to train station. Ski busses were not yet running in November but can still walk to ski lift.

Fantastic location, just a short walk from the station and ski buses. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and held amazing mountain views. The breakfast spread included a good variety, enough to cater to everyone. The restaurant staff's rudeness stood out, especially regarding food options during meals. There was a noticeable lack of variety in breakfast and dinner. They mostly served processed items which weren't very appetizing. One day, when I requested brown bread, I received a dismissive response stating there was none available. A lack of coffee packets in my room was disappointing. The amenities offered were good, but staff behavior could drastically improve for a better guest experience.

Great location! Just a few steps away from the train station and the shuttle to Mt. Titlis. Room was big and cozy with a view of the mountains. The price was great too!

I enjoyed my stay, especially the close proximity to amazing sights like Lake Trubsee just around the corner and the Engelberg Abbey a lovely short stroll away, making it perfect for leisurely explorations each day.

The proximity to the train station made it easy to get around, and the fine mountain views from the balcony room were a real treat. The mini fridge in the room is a thoughtful touch for keeping your drinks cold after a long day out.

There were some real bumps . The walls are paper-thin. I could hear everything from the hall and neighboring rooms-definitely not the best for a quiet getaway. The bathroom setup left something to be desired. No slippers, a chilly floor, and I noticed some noise from the fixtures at night. Seriously, the breakfast options were quite repetitive, and a lack of coffee supplies in my room was disappointing.
